A Huddersfield Sketchbook

Back in the late seventies and early eighties, I would visit J Wood and Sons in Huddersfield to buy my punk rock records. Often I would pop into Huddersfield Art Gallery to contemplate the works on display. Two stood out for me; LS Lowry's painting of Chapel Hill titled “Huddersfield” looking towards Lockwood and Peter Brook’s painting “Mill in Winter”. Walking around Huddersfield recently, with all the ongoing changes, I have been inspired to create a Huddersfield sketchbook.
