Sketchbooks

All of my work starts in a sketchbook. They might live in my coat pockets or backpack, to be pulled out as need arises, or inspiration strikes. In the studio, they serve as memory banks for future work, as a platform for exploration and experimentation, or just to capture the emotions and experiences of a particular place and time. The pages I’ve compiled here are a few favourites which I hope reveal a little more of how I get to the finished work in my collections and ongoing projects.
