A Ramble Through The Years was an exhibition of my sketchbook drawings and paintings held at Gallery Four Oldham in 2023.
I was inspired to sketch and paint again after a major heart operation, where my recovery walks gave me a newfound appreciation for the drama, beauty and variety of the North’s landscapes and townscapes. This exhibition represents a culmination of the style I have developed over the last few years, featuring a selection from the drawings I’ve been doing on my walks.
